10+ year life battery

Why use rechargeable Vanadium Pentoxide Lithium Cells?

This technology, the 10 year+, used in the Aico Ei160RC series(Aico Ei161RC, Aico Ei164RC, Aico Ei166RC) battery cells, provides the best and most effective/reliable back-up power available. Confirmed by the manufacturer, Panasonic, the cells used are the only rechargeable cells with a realistic ten year life expectancy. Constantly being "charged" or "topped-up" by the mains, the Vanadium Pentoxide Lithium Cells out-perform the lithium primary batteries, capacitors or rechargeable cells currently used in other smoke alarms.

  • Friendly to the enviroment - no special disposal requirements
  • A precision charging circuit ensures peak efficiency at all times.
  • 6 month back-up without mains power.
  • Cells are soldered for reliable long term connection.
  • The cells supplied are fully charged.
  • Proven 10 year+ battery life.
  • Terminals are laser welded for reliability
  • Bo battery replacement requirement.

RadioLINK

Aico Ei161RC can be interconnected with other mains powered smoke, heat and fire alarms. With RadioLINK, the fire alarms are interconnected by wireless signals(rather than by cable). Much simpler and easier! More...
