The Smoke Alarms from Aico are high performance devices that detect the smoke level in the area where they are installed. The sensor used in the smoke alarms can be:

a ionisation sensor - the ionisation alarms, like the Aico Ei141 and the Aico Ei161RC;
a optical sensor - the optical alarms, like the Aico Ei146 or the Aico Ei166RC.
